I am Zeus! The god of thunder and lightning
One of my famous stories is with the battle between us Olympians and the Titans
When I tried overthrowing my father, Cronus. He decided to call his brothers and sisters to his side (know as the Titans). In which then a long ten year war began.
And during those ten years, there were smoked skies and sullied waters, with a big battle that scorched the earth.
It was until Gaia, the earth mother, told me that I would win if I freed her other children. Which were my uncles and one eyed uncle that Cronus had cast into the Underworld.
So I went into the underworld and freed them. While I was there, I decided to free The Cyclopes which in gratitude, gave my lightning bolts and deafening thunder.
The Cyclopes gave my brothers weapons too. They gave Poseidon sharp, gleaming trident to smite the seabeds and raise massive waves. And to Hades, they gave him a helmets of invisibility.
Finally,my brothers, and my uncles helped me fight against the Titans. We began crushing the enemies with rocks and spears. But, that changed when I used my lightning bolts which burned the earths forests and I let them smolder.
Now I know we have to win because that is the nature if things. By the end of the war we were fighting on mountain tops. The Titans were fighting on Mount Othrys while we fought on Mount Olympus, that's was how we became known as Olympians.
When I thought we had finally won the war, Gaia decided to give birth to her last child, Thyphon. Thyphon was a big sepentine with 100 heads with flickering black tongues.
When everyone fell back from Typhon, I stood my ground. So in a flash I threw my lightning bolt and smoldered all of Thyphon's heads off.
FINALLY, WE HAD WON THE WAR
THE TITANS HAD FINALLY LOST
