PRESENTATION OUTLINE
Hazel Grace Lancaster is the main character in the novel, "The Fault In Our Stars" and is a sweet and caring 16 year old girl who is battling cancer. Hazel's parents took her out of school when she was only 13 years old. Hazel also attends a cancer support group once every week.
The setting of the novel, "The Fault In Our Stars" mainly takes place in a small town in Indianapolis and Amsterdam,Netherlands.
The main conflict in the novel, "The Fault In Our Stars" is internal. Internal conflict is a struggle between man and himself. In this novel the conflict is between Hazel Grace and herself. There is a conflict between Hazel Grace and herself because she is struggling with cancer.
The plot of "The Fault In Our Stars" is that one day while Hazel is at the cancer support group she sees a new guy there. She soon finds out his name is Augustus Waters. Augustus has lost one of his legs because of cancer called osteosarcoma but is now recovering.
The theme of "The Fault In Our Stars" is don't take your life for granted and live each day to the fullest.
