LANDFORM

  • A natural feature of the earths surface.
  • Landforms can have flowers like Daisy’s and Roses.

VOLCANO

  • An opening in the earths crust through which lava, dust, ash, hot gases are ejected.
  • Hawaii has a volcano that erupted.

MAGMA

  • Hot fluid of semi fluid material below or within the earths crust from which lava and other igneous rock is formed by cooling.
  • Magma is very hot and you should never touch it.

ERUPT

  • To burst out violently.
  • Volcanoes erupt and when they erupt they shoot out lava.

  • An area of land that rise to a great height.
  • The Mauna Kea mountain is the tallest mountain in the world.

  • A piece of land that is encircled by water.
  • You can find islands in Hawaii.

  • A long, narrow area of low land between mountains or hills, often with a river running along the bottom.
  • The Mississippi River made a valley.

WEATHERING

  • The condition or activity of the atmosphere with respect to weather it is hot or cold, sunny or cloudy, windy or calm or wet or dry.
  • The weathering man said it’s going to rain this week.

  • A piece of land that sticks out into water from a larger landmass.
  • I want to see a peninsula very bad.

  • An area of flat land that is higher than the land around it.
  • We want to see a plateau VERY bad.
