PRESENTATION OUTLINE
SELECT RESEARCH QUESTIONS
Prepare one or more questions to guide your research and choose a search engine. What do you want to know, and how will you find it?
One way to identify key words is to highlight them in your research questions.
Put your search strategies to work. Add quotation marks, use a minus sign, or specify what type of information you need.
Run a search on the terms you have chosen and review your results. Verify your results by checking multiple sources.
Avoid repeating work you have already done by jotting down what you've searched for and where you've searched for it.
