PRESENTATION OUTLINE

SPACE

BY: MICHAEL CUENCA

PAST:
For years scientists have been trying to make it into space. On April 12, 1961, Russian cosmonaut Yuri Gagarin was the first man in space. Although the Russians were the first in space the U.S. responded by sending Neil Armstrong, the first man on the moon in 1969. His famous words were "one small step for man. One giant leap for mankind."

PRESENT:
We are currently trying to learn about Mars. Our goal is to one day get there. We have sent several rovers and probes in an attempt to learn more about Mars. Our latest attempt was a spacecraft called MAVEN which launched successfully from Cape Canaveral Air Force on November 18, 2013.

Future:
We will most likely find a way to get to Mars, and explore the planet. We will try and find out if it is possible to live on Mars.
