Our Schedule

• Warm Up: Basic Facts are repeated and reviewed each day.
• Problem Solving: Written in STAAR format to lead students to build logical reasoning and make mathematical connections to real life situations. Students complete 1 problem with the teacher and 1 independently.

Our Schedule

• Skills: Practiced each day, these provide a spiral review to support mathematical concepts.
• Concept: Our mathematical focus of the week, the concept is the practice of mathematical topics such as perimeter, fractions, and finance. Concepts are supported by the practice of skills, problem solving and basic facts.

Grading
Only the Concept or Skills/Review are graded. I will determine which to assess each day. All parts of the packet are expected to be completed.

Multiplication Facts

Starting 2nd Six Weeks, we will begin reviewing multiplication facts with a goal of 100% fluency!

We will have weekly assessments that are for a daily grade and are not timed, but required to be completed in a timely manner in class on Fridays.
