• The savannah is a type of grassland biome. It is sometimes called the tropical grassland.
• Summer is the rainy season, and winter is the dry season in this place.
• It is generally a warm and humid place.

What do they eat?

• Some are carnivores, they eat meat: lions, cheetahs, hyenas, ...
• Others are herbivores, they eat plants: elephants, zebras, giraffes, ...

Adaptation

• These animals are adapted to this habitat, but not to others. They cannot live in the ocean because they cannot breathe there, and they cannot live in the polar habitat because they cannot stand very cold temperatures.
