PRESENTATION OUTLINE

JAPANESE ANIMATION

BY: NYLA OCHOA

WHAT IS ANIME?

  • Anime is Japanese animation.
  • A type of art form that is brought to life through animation
  • A type of art that is not restricted to only Japan.

How does it apply to my generation?
Anime has been a hot topic for many teens for several years. A lot of teens, including myself, watch anime for entertainment purposes. As the community continues to grow everyday between millions of individuals, others judge for liking anime.

REASONS FOR JUDGMENT

  • Some people choose to watch anime in Japanese instead of their native language.
  • According to individuals who dislike anime, most reasons can be because sometimes anime shows have “weird” story lines
  • It has become normalized in various communities to make fun of anime fans.

MEANINGS/LESSONS BEHIND 3 DIFFERENT ANIME SHOWS:

NARUTO:

LONELINESS, HEALTHY RELATIONSHIPS WITH FAMILY AND FRIENDS, WORKING HARD FOR YOUR DREAMS.

MY HERO ACADEMIA:

ANYTHING IS POSSIBLE IF YOU TRY, NEVER GIVE UP, ANYONE CAN BE ANYTHING

ATTACK ON TITAN:

HEALING FROM THE PAST, FOLLOW YOUR HEART , VALUE OF FRIENDSHIP.

Anime can have very important messages and lessons that most teens need to hear at certain times. Anime is a great way to to learn about real world situations and apply the lessons to your personal life.

The anime community is diverse and creative. It should also be a judgement free zone for everyone as the community continues to grow everyday.

THANK YOU!
