We received 'flat funding' from the township for the 2015-2016 school year.

We also received no increase of state funding.

Personnel changes

• One less aide needed for next year
• Offered ALL specials for shared services
• Sharing an I-T / computer teacher
• IA to STEAM
• .73 to full time for one SPED teacher
• Personnel re-assigned to meet student needs

Enhancements

• STEAM Program: K-8
• MyON Reading elective
• Computer Education
• 5th grade back to 3-4-5 format
• Specialists to address the Common Core needs for ELA & Math
• Technology upgrades & mandates
• Chromebooks to take home

Scheduling

• 8:30 start time, 3:20 academic dismissal
• Seven periods of +/- 60 minutes each
• MORE 'specials' time for each student
• Traditional schedule for PK-5; rotating blocks for 6-8 (VERY successful this year)
