SIMPLE SENTENCE

  • I love to go to the park .
  • My brother and I love to play football during the winter .
  • I wanted to go to the movies to see Divergent .

COMPOUND SENTENCE

  • I love to go to the park , but I'm not able to go on rainy days .
  • I love pizza , but it can sometimes upset my stomach .
  • I can't skate , nor can I drive a car .

COMPLEX SENTENCE

  • After I rode my bike , I scraped my knee .
  • Because I ate the spaghetti fast , it upset my stomach .
  • Because I scraped my knee, I couldn't stand up right .
