  • Both countries are located in the Middle East
  • Iran borders Iraq, Turkey, Turkmenistan, Afghanistan and Pakistan
  • Iraq borders Syria, Saudi Arabia, Turkey and Iran

ANGER RESISTANCE

  • An uprising occurred in 2009 in Iran
  • The anger was held back for 30 years
  • People started protesting but without a back bone to help them it would never stabilize the country

  • The U.S. was a huge resource for the countries
  • Then the U.S. Pulled back their military
  • This contributed to causing Iraq and Iran to fall apart
