- Is a 8 story bell tower located in Pisa, Italy on an unintended lean.
- The tower is a very popular tourist attraction.
Why does the tower lean?
- constructed using 14,500 tonnes of marble!
The answer is simple, the leaning tower of Pisa was built on a not solid foundation.

WHEN IS THE TOWER ESTIMATED TO FALL?
Engineers have estimated that in 200 years hopefully the tower will still be standing, however it is really 50/50, for example, will it withstand the force and pressure of an earthquake.
HOW WILL IT EFFECT THE FUTURE?
The tower of Pisa is a well known icon for the city, and attracts around 1 million visitors every year. It will be very unfortunate if it topples over soon, however it would make a good news story :)
