PRESENTATION OUTLINE

Google docs

Today, we are doing to look at how to use Google Docs in the classroom.

writing

Google Docs allows for students and teachers to access, create, and write documents using computers or mobile devices. All work is saved in a cloud, so once you create---it's saved!

editing and feedback

With a robust toolbox, students can edit and style docs and give permissions to users in a collaborative environment. This gives students the opportunity revise written work on the feedback given. Students can also set various permissions for users to fully edit or make suggestions, all of which is immediately saved in the cloud. Revision history? Edits and suggestions by all users are documented too, so there's no fooling around.

access

Anywhere there is an internet connection, Google Docs is available to use---for free.

mobile

Along with PCs, Google Docs is accessible on mobile devices including iOS and Android. If a school has a Chromebook or iPad program, Google Docs is easy to adapt to almost every age group of students.

collaborate

Sharing your work is just one many great attributes of Google Docs. Students and teachers can work in virtual learning environments, in and out of class.

connecting

And with that, Google Docs is redefining how students write and connect with students and teachers.
