Arts and recreation
JCPL uses the Dewey Decimel system to organize our nonfiction books. If you'd like to browse the books in our stacks, head to the 700s.

At the beginning of the 700s, you'll find general books about the arts, including fine & decorative arts. Here's a sample of titles:

B GOGH
Books that focus more on an artist's work than life will be in the 700s. If the book focuses more on an artist's life, then you will most likely find it in the biographies. The call number is usually B followed by the subject's last name.
