It works with the circulatory system because it produces insulin, which brings down blood sugar.

Pancreatic cancer, pancreatitis, and cystic fibrosis are diseases that affect the pancreas.

Pancreatic cancer- when the pancreas has cancerous exocrine tumors.

Pancreatitis- inflammation of the pancreas

cystic fibrosis- genetic disorder that is a thick, sticky mucus that block tubes in your pancreas.

A person can live without their pancreas, but they have to take insulin injections daily, and pills that contain digestive enzymes.
