Boredom
Do not blame others for your boredom
You can control boredom by being aware of your thoughts and slowing them down if necessary
Boredom carries one from one stage of life to the next
It’s best to fake like you’re engaged in order to be productive, and it might benefit your attitude towards that class.

Procrastination
“Putting off something that is unpleasant or burdensome”
This leads to bad consequences that are worse than just getting the work done in the first place
To prevent procrastination just start doing the action and you will likely finish it.

Listening
An ineffective type of listening is when you’re thinking about your life when you’re supposed to be listening which leads to loss of information.
Judgemental listening also causes a loss of information because you are to busy thinking about the relevance of a topic.
Distracted listening happens to everybody but you should just be able to acknowledge something and then get back on task
Processing listening is helpful in retaining information but still being a little distracted
The Zone listening is when you aren’t distracted by anything and always keep focused on the topic at hand
