Eastern Woodlands

• They are located in tennesse and kentucky.
• The tribes include the Cayuga, Mohawk, onondaga, and the Seneca.
• They lived in a forest and it rained a lot so they didn't need to water the fields.

• They mainly ate animal meat but they also ate nuts, berries, beans, and corn.
• They belived in the great spirit.

The great spirit
The native americans believed that the animals, plants, trees, etc. had spirits, but the great spirit controlled them all.

The plains

• the plains lived between the mississippi and the Rocky's.
• some tribes include the Cheyenne, Pawnee, and the Lakota.
• In the east there was tall grass. In the west there were cold winters and hot summers. There were also some rivers.

• they mainly ate buffalo, but they also ate berries, deer, moose, elk, wolves, rabbits, and chicken.
• they believed in the great spirit.

the pacific northwest

• they lived in alaska and northern california.
• some tribes include the chinookan and the klickitat.
• there was heavy rainfall, dense forests, oceans and rivers, and mountains where they lived.

the desert southwest

• they were located in eastern utah, northern arizona, colorado, and New mexico.
• some tribes were the apache, navajo, hopi, and zuni.
• it was hot and dry and there was little rain.
