JESTERS CLOTHING

  • Eccentric colors

  • Shoes and hats with bells
  • Diamond/square shapes on their pants and shirts

INTERESTING FACTS!

  • They were referred to as fools, buffoons, or clows
  • Ventriloquism was also a skill they had
  • Jesters could get away with poking fun at any noble, or royal

MINSTRELS

  • Minstrels were musicians
  • They played stories of distant places or imaginary historical events
  • They were replaced by troubadours and many became traveling musicians in the end of the 15th centry

Minstrels played harps, fiddles, bagpipes, flutes, flageolets (woodwind), citterns (string instrument), and kettledrums.

  • They danced and did acrobats to add to the show
  • Wore bright colored clothes
