  • It can also can float on the water without getting wet or muddy
  • It can also represent how one lives his life highly effects your rebirth

Symbols-The Om Symbol

  • This symbol means a sacred sound
  • They say this symbol is the universal name of the lord
  • This symbol is one of the most important symbols to Hindus
  • They consider the symbol very sacred and highly respected

Symbols-Trihsula

  • Used to represent the emblem of the god Shiva
  • It also means irresistible force of transcendental reality
  • This symbol is a trident spear

  • This event occurs in October and November
  • For The Festival Of Lights they place candles down to honor
  • Sometimes they place them around your house or a special shrine

  • Spring festivals are held in February or March
  • This festival is where you let loose and have fun
  • They play games and celebrate how blessed they are

  • They have a ten day time to honor mother godess
  • On the tenth day thy have the celebrations
  • The festival is very important in Bengal and is known as "Durga Puja"
