DLM Test Administration

Students, Parents and Teachers

• Confirm student-eligibility
• Share information with parents
• Thoroughly read Test Administration Manual  (TAM)
• Activate your account on Educator Portal , including security agreement
• Familiarize yourself with the DLM web site, including Vermont's page

Training Modules & Student's Personal Needs Profile (PNP)

• COMPLETE and *PASS the seven, required training modules
• Collaborate with IEP team to determine appropriate accessibility supports
• Record supports in student's PNP profile
• Edit and update student demographics and PNP, when necessary
• *Training modules are considered finished when the tester has "PASSED" 

Just to be Sure . . .

• Confirm that student's First Contact Survey (FCS) has been updated.
• Familiarize yourself and your students with DLM testlets/practice items.
• Preview all technology before test administration
• Student user names and passwords will be distributed by DLM on 10/13/14

The Instructional Tools Interface (ITI) & Testlet Information Page (TIP)

• ITI will be phased in at a later date; TIP available through Portal
• Retrieve the TIP
• Record Essential Element (EE) and linkage level choices in the ITI
• Schedule assessment time & location; confirm in the ITI

Right Before the Assessment. . .

• Continue to deliver instruction until student readiness is determined
• Ensure that test administrators have completed the required modules
• Check student's device for compatibility
• Assess as testlets become available
