Cain and Abel were the first children of Adam & Eve

Both brothers made an offering to God. Cain gave his first crop of the year and Abel gave his firstling if his flock .
Nobody knows why God was more pleased with Abel's gift.

Cain was very jealous of Abel. God told Cain not to let his jealousy get the best of him. Cain does not listen to God and he kills Abel.
