Would you like to visit Argentina ??

In the southern hemisphere seasons are the opposite to those in the northern hemisphere.
In general, the summer is the best time to visit Patagonia and the Southern Andes because of the mild temperatures and long days. Wintertime is recommended for travelling to the North and Northwest as rains are less frequent and tropical temperatures drop a few degrees. Autumn and spring are marvelous in Buenos Aires, Cuyo and the pre-mountain range areas of La Rioja and Catamarca.

Why do they call Argentina?

It comes from the Latin term “argentum”, which means silver. The origin of this name goes back to the first voyages made by the Spanish conquerors to the Río de la Plata. The survivors of the shipwrecked expedition mounted by Juan Díaz de Solís found indigenous people in the region who gave them silver objects as presents. The news about the legendary Sierra del Plata - a mountain rich in silver - reached Spain around 1524. As from this date, the Portuguese named the river of Solís, Río de la Plata (River of Silver). Two years later the Spanish used the same name. The National Constitution adopted in 1853 included the name “República Argentina” (Argentine Republic) among the official names to designate the government and the country’s territory.

The major sports in Venezuela are baseball, basketball and football. In international games, Venezuela has participated in the olympic games since 1948, and the wintern olympic games since 1998. Baseball was originated in the early 20th century and the league was stablished in 1945. Football lags behind baseball but it's popularity is bigger. Then there was created the Basketball league in 1974.

DID YOU KNOW THAT VENEZUELA'S ECONOMY HAS SERIOUS PROBLEMS??

Venezuela is immersed in its most severe economic crisis since 2003, President Nicolás Maduro's announcement of a major restructuring of his government raised hopes that he might have a plan to tackle the problem. Instead, on September 2nd Mr Maduro ruled out any “capitalist” solution, declared his economic policy “successful” and sidelined Rafael Ramírez, the only cabinet member proposing substantial change.

Venezuelan food is marked by its cultural history resulting in a mixture of African, European and aboriginnal stews. Typical Venezuelan dishes contain rice, fried bananas and meat, which, however, is often replaced with fish or sea fruit in the oriental part of the country LIKE:

WHERE WOULD YOU LIKE TO GO IN PUERTO RICO??

Data from the last years of tourism in Puerto Rico show a large increase, that means, in 2010 about 3.68 million people visited this place, in 2011 increased to a figure of 4 million visitors, and in the last data obtained in 2013 the visitors totalled 4.2 million. The main tourist attractions in this country are natural sites, historical buildings, concerts and sporting events.

The United States is the main country that visit Puerto Rico, this is due to that the U.S. people do not need passport to travel to that country.

HAVE YOU TASTED SOMETHING SIMILAR??

The gastronomy of this country is a mix of dishes and ingredients from Spain as the onion, garlic, cilantro, eggplant, chickpeas and coconut, with African ingredients such as banana and the ancient inhabitants of Puerto Rico who stewed roots like cassava, sweet potato and yautia and planted corn. A classic dish from Puerto Rico is to soup, sopón, is chicken with rice. A traditional method of preparing this soup contains large pumpkin of squash and potatoes.

HOW IS THE ECONOMY IN PUERTO RICO??

This country's economy is based on manufacturing, contributing with a 45.7% of total net income, second is the financial sector that provides a 15%. Agriculture provides a minimum income with 1%, more important products are tobacco, sugar and coffee. The last data were obtained in the year 2002, in recent years agriculture has been less contribution, on the other hand the manufacturing income because the industries are now based on capital investment.
