TYPES OF CARE SETTINGS


Residential care

is where person leaves their home to be cared for in a safe and secure home environment,and some residential care setting for people with the same type of attention such as alzheimer's or physical frailty

Day care

this type of care is for people who need care on a daily basis but not in a residential home for example each person is assessd and his or her needs are met on an individual basis

Nursing care

this is where a person needs more nursing care because they are ill and/or need specialist health care for example one person may have had a heart attack and be seriously ill whereas another may be going to hospital to have a baby

Domiciliary care(home care)

This is health and social care carried out at home for example if they wants to give birth at home or health visitor is calling to check on a person just released from hospital or a meal service is being provided for people how cannot cook at home or person wants die at home
