  • By end 80% of species died out (Mesozoic era)
  • Ended by Valcanoes, asteroids,climate change
  • At the Hell Creek formation in Montana there is a coal layer (Cretaceous and tertiary)
  • great change in the terrestrial vegetation
  • Continents split, flooded, climate changed to much.
