It brought change to every country along the trade route. It brought new technology and new foods to other countries to help others benefit. It changed so many countries, not one.

You mainly think of China when it comes to the Silk Road and think that Silk was traded there but Silk was not traded as much as other mateirials.

By late 760 AD, the Silk Road started to decline. Its brilliant trading life slowed and less and less trade went on.
