Sikhism

• a monotheistic religion founded in Punjab in the 15th century by Guru Nanak.
• Sikhism preaches that all people are equal in the eyes of God

Urban

• in, relating to, or characteristic of a city or town.
• That town right there is Urban!

Rural

• in relating to, or characteristic of the countryside rather then the town
• grandpas farm is in a rural area.

Multicultural

• Of, relating to, or including several cultures.
• this are is multicultural!

Gender Roles

• the overt expression of attitudes that indicate to others the degree of your maleness or femaleness
• you express a lot of femaleness in your gender role

Social Class

• people having the same social, economic, or educational status
• he is in the same social class as me!

Social Mobility

• Social mobility is the movement of individuals or groups in social standing social position. It may refer
• to classes, ethnic groups, or entire nations, and may measure health status, literacy, or education
• I believe in social mobility so no one is stuck somewhere forever
