I am California
I wonder if people think I'm the biggest state.
I hear the sounds of waves by the ocean shore.
I see the lovely California poppies.
I want people to come and play on my beaches.
I am the Golden State.

I feel proud of my capital, Sacramento.
I touch the sandy beaches as people play with their families.
I worry that people will pollute the ocean.
I cry when people pollute and harm the animals.
I am the Natural State.
