INDEPENDENT READING PROJECT

REGULATIONS

• I must approve your book
• Book must be in English
• At least 2/4 non digital
• Only 1 book may be a graphic novel

FOR EACH BOOK

• Creat a google doc with the following information
• Date started, date finished, author, title.
• Short paragraph response with your opinion on the book,
• Your likes, dislikes, reactions to the book,
• & who you'd recommend it to.

WHERE TO FIND GOOD BOOKS

• Ask a friend or family member
• Peruse the shelves
• Ask a librarian
• Goodreads, NYTimes, etc
• Ask your teacher

GRADES & STUFF

• 4 books read & exemplary project
• 3 books read & proficient project
• 2 books read & developing project
• 1 book read & beginning project
• 4-1.....grade range roughly A-D
