Some ideas related to my work with Lexia:
1

How does students' prior

knowledge affect their learning?
. Send Data Routine & Analysis activity #1 as prework.
2. Use a scenario after the student program exploration such as: A first grade student was placed on level 2. How many minutes per week do you think the student will need to work on Lexia each week to get to the end of 1st grade by the end of the school year? After discussion, show research slide.
Next, review the implementation models on page 9 and circle models that will work in your setting.
3. At the start of a Data Coaching event, considering asking these questions:
If you want to check student usage where would you begin?
If you want to check a students' unit /minute ration, where would you begin?
