PRESENTATION OUTLINE
Wednesday the 27th of August
Dear Diary
I can not believe that we performed to the school, before we went on I was so nervous I thought I was going to muck up. But I did not muck up. The lighting was really cool. The strobe light is by far one of the coolest lights. The mike I had was good exept for when I did not realise that it was on and I called to Miss Hill and it came out on the speaker. After that I made sure it was turned off.
Just thinking about tonight makes me nervous. What if I muck up ? What if I forget my lines ? I am telling myself I won't forget them but it's not working. There will be so many faces staring at you. Just thinking about it seems scary.
Thursday the 28th
Dear Diary
It's me again. Miss Hill miked me up. I feel like I was going to be sick I went into the toilet but nothing came out so I went back to my seat. They gave some mints to suck on so I did not have the of spew in my mouth. When I went out I looked over to where my parents, grandparents and sister was sitting. I forgot to mention the had come to watch. I was so nervous I said my lines and went off I thought to myself my lines were clear. I had another mint. It flowed through the other legends I went on and off and soon it was the end song yesterday tomorrow. I can not believe we got through the second show.
Friday 29th Of August
Dear Diary
It's my birthday yay, and tonight my cousins are coming to watch. I am so nervous. I am getting Fleur to take some photos. They arrived at the hall probably two minutes before the show started. They took their seats and the show basically began.
I went on and said my lines, I could see Fleur taking the photos of me on stage. The show went so fast and soon it was half time. My mouth was so dry, I went and got a drink at the food stall and got some lollies for Fleur and the others. I drank half of the bottle, I was so thirsty. After half time I have to say the first line. The seven whales legend was awesome and I had to get off the other side off the stage after I said my next line. And I had to take my mike to Mrs Miller and watch Astella.
But she was away that night so I went and sat down I did not feel to well so I went into the wings and Mrs Roil was there so she took me out back to room 21. I felt sick, hot and horrible. Mrs Roil got me a glass of water it was cold it made my insides shiver. I did not drink much of it but I had to go back on stage. So I went on sang the finale song and went home. And said goodbye to my cousins. I was proud after the show. But felt sick. 3 down, 3 to go.
Monday 1st Of September
I am so nervous. Our first production after the weekend and a totally different audience. Just imagining the thousands of eyes staring right at you. It seems so scary. But it is not scary when you are on stage. Yet again the show flowed through. It got so hot in the hall. Your mouth gets so dry at half time I went and got a drink at the drinking fountain I was so thirsty. When the show had finished I was so relieved that it was over as once you have seen it a few times. You know what's coming next and it starts to get a little boring.
Tuesday 2nd of September
Dear Diary
I can't believe after this, there is only one to go, the final night. I am so excited. But then again I am so tired. I was so nervous before the show started. But it was the same as every other night, you get nervous before you go on and once you are on it's a piece of cake. Every night after the production, I think to myself “I am getting better in every show aren't I?”. I would think so. Anyway I stumbled a little bit when I was stepping from the higher stage to the lower stage, I was really relieved that I did not fall. I really like the end song
When the show finished and we went to get changed and there was Pippi - I thought to myself gosh she is up late.
Wednesday the 3rd of September
Dear Diary
I can't believe it's the final night. This is going to be the best show ever. It's going to come from my heart and try to use my hands more for actions.
I'm on stage the last night arrrhh I say my lines “Kia Ora kids” and all the others I think to myself I am doing much better than all the other shows. I have put the other 5 shows energy together and created one big block of energy. I wanted it to be the best show of a lifetime.
Mr G was filming, so it had to be good. Basically when people say their lines I know them too. It went so fast it just flowed through like a creek. I said my last line "Well kids our learning is gathering such momentum but it's nearly bell time," the rest of the kids said their lines, so did the narrators and then Yesterday Tomorrow. It was the best show night ever.
