GENOCIDES: BOSNIA
Near the end of the Cold War, most of Russia and Europe
were undergoing democratization and communism was being altered.
The country of Bosnia was in the middle of this conflict and with their multi ethnic
republic, Bosnia refused democratization and unleashed full on warfare in
their country. This small war claimed about 100,000 lives.

CIVIL WARS: MEXICAN CESSION
Civil wars can cause major conflicts between nations, fighting for land
is one of those conflicts. In 1846, Mexico and the U.S fought for the western region
of the United States. In 1848, to avoid more casualties on both sides, the two
forces decided to sign a treaty to end the war. A boundary was created that
Separates the U.S and Mexico.

CONFLICTS OVER IDEAS: 16TH CENTURY CATHOLICS & PROTESTANTS
Catholics and Protestants both had similar beliefs in "God" such as the cross
and the birth of Jesus Christ. But both of them didn't agree on tradition like
the Catholics. Protestants believed in faith while Catholics believed in tradition. This disagreement lead to a
Great War about religion. Thousands of people died just because they believe in something completely
different. Even in the modern age, most of us disagree with other religions. Will unity ever exist in our world?
