This is a haikudeck--a new presentation tool. What do you think? More of the same or a nice change from Power Point and Presi? Works best in Chrome, not so well in Explorer.

IPADS
Thanks to the Technology Committee, the library has 2 ipads for teacher check out!

Wondering about a new app or games or other ipad activities?

Come check out one or both of our ipads and test drive them.

You can also check out one or more of our ipods (we need advanced notice for these since students can check out the ipods) to try out in stations or other activities.

We have some fun educational games, some audio book sources and we are are willing to add more--give us suggestions! We like free, but are willing to buy apps so you can try them out (within reason).

How about a QR search? Come see me and we'll plan an activity!

Haikudeck--my take

  • Limited--at least I couldn't find a way to change fonts, etc.
  • However, it makes kids focus on content, not bells and whistles
  • It also makes them think about the difference between
  • What is on the slide and what you want to say (the notes)
  • Try it out!
