ISRAELI-PALESTINIAN CONFLICT

HOW IT STARTED

• After the Holocaust in 1945 Britain gave Jews Isreal (Palestine)
• This terretory was already occupied by Arabs
• Britain then got control of Israel
• This broke the promise that Britain had with Arabs promising freedom
• The Palestinians( the Arabs) did not want to give up their land so they fought

WHY IS IT STILL GOING?

• The government hasnt been able to come to an agreement.
• The land is full of history for both sides and its hard to divide.
• Both sides have strong ties to the land since this has been going for 130 yrs.
• Without a sovereign power the both sides haven't agreed proccess in the past

KEY ISSUES FOR AN END

• In order for this to end there needs Isreal should be split.
• Both sides must be fine with the boundaries if Israel is split.
• Attacks on Isreal should stop.
• Both sides should take actions by following the UN directions and the USA'/.
