WHO TEACHES VALUES?

Class-created survey.
The idea is to have the students do a little bit of warm-up in thinking before they hear the story -- not teacher-directed, but student-directed.

Put items on sticky notes and add to "poster" so they can be rearranged and categorized if desired.

HOW OLD WERE YOU WHEN...

You realized your parents were not all-powerful?
Think-pair-share?
