  • Depended on hunting and collecting
  • Costal people ate fish
  • In-land people ate deer and other animals
  • Everyone ate berries

AGRICULTURAL DEPENDECY

  • Since they were so dependent on agriculture, droughts brought bad famine
  • Grew maize, beans, squashes, and sunflowers as well
  • Supplemented those with small game

OVERVIEW

  • Built settled agricultural societies
  • Were not too advanced, but had some sophistication
