COUNTRIES & THE SILK ROAD
Europeans got silk from the road.
African countries, Egypt and Somalia, got silk from the road.
Asian countries, Arabia, India and Java, got silk from the road.
Persians used the road to send messages.

IMPORTs AND EXPORTS
Silk was mainly traded.
Other luxury goods like spices and gold.
Livestock was also traded.

TIME PERIOD
The Silk Road started in 500BC.
The Chinese and the Romans traded technology, food, and medicine.
The Silk Road spread and it's use slowly declined in 1900.
The Eurasian Land Bridge is sometimes referred to as the "New Silk Road

CONCLUSION
The Silk Road was widely used during 500BC-1900.
Spices, gold, livestock were traded, but it was mainly silk.
European countries, Egypt, Somalia, Arabia, Persia, India,Java, and China used the road.
