• Agriculture is things such as plants
• Used as food for a region

NORTH AMERICA

• Corn was introduced by native Americans in the 1400s
• Farmers now plant it all over the Americas and it is a main food source

SOUTH AMERICA

• Livestock is important here
• More than one eighth of the land is grazing areas for livestock
• This is what South America gets its main food source off of so it is important

EUROPE

• Grain first came to Europe in the 13th century
• This is important because most of the foods in Europe are made of grains
• They are a main food source.
• Example is that Europe is famous for it's many breads
• Also pasta is big in places like Italy

AFRICA

• Spices came here during the spice road
• Today almost all African foods would not be the same without spices
• Spices are all over because of the spice road.

AUSTRAILIA

• Fish is an important part of their agriculture
• They are surrounded by water so there are many fisheries
• This is their main source of meat since they are trapped by water.

ASIA

• Such as Africa, spices are also important here.
• They came during the spice road
• Used in almost every food now because of this

ANTARTICA

• Such as Austrailia fish is important
• In the Antarctic it is hard for anything to live and thrive
• It is surrounded by water so fish are the main meat.
• Fish have shaped the continent in this way.
