• Ukraines president is Viktor Yanukovych.
• He said that he was forced to flee Russia because he was recieving
• threats about his saftey.

WHO ARE THE PROTESTERS?

• They are anti-government people

WHY DID THE UNREST ESCALATE IN THE PAST TWO WEEKS?

• The protesters started to expand.
• They also started to get a widespread use of firearms

WHAT ROLE DO RUSSIA AND THE WEST PLAY IN THIS?

• Russia accused the West of political medaling in Ukraine.
• Moscow has been keeping a low profile so far.

HOW DO YOU THINK THIS CRISIS WILL END?

• I think it will end by Russia backing off
• They will back off, but with some conditions
