THE CALL

  • In December 7when Pearl Harbor was attacked Mexico aid them
  • In May of 1942 Mexico wanted war on the axis power
  • Many Mexican-Americans went to invade japan
  • Avila camacho(mexico's president) told his nation "our brother country needs help"

THE HELP

  • Mexican-Americans worked in factory's or industries
  • Many build air crafts,wings,engines,and bombs
  • About 18.6 percent of Mexican-Americans went to invade Japan
  • Mexico help with meals to send to the troops

WORKING ON THE HOMEFRONT

  • Between 250,000 and 500,000served in the arm forces
  • After the Pearl Harbor bombing many went to the navy, army,and marine corpse
  • Many got to make their air crafts and many became pilots and flew
  • Many where train on ground for combat

THE BRACERO PROGRAM

  • The bracero program was for Mexican-American framers
  • The workers would wear zoo suits that where saggy
  • On June 3,1943 American service men attacked the workers
  • The people left working only lasted 10 days working

MEXICAN PROPAGANDA

  • They used propaganda in Mexican community's to help in war
  • Many of the posters promoted how good it is to be Mexican American
  • Many would go to the bracero program,navy,army,and the marines
  • Many showed the good spirt of the United States of America and Mexico
